Do you have what it takes to be an e-entrepreneur?

These days, it seems like everyone wants to work
from home and make money on the Internet. But
before you even turn on your computer, the first
question you have to ask yourself is whether
you’re cut out for this kind of work.

The fact is, building a home-based business isn’t
for everyone. Some people like the commute. They
really do enjoy having a boss who tells them what
to do, and they like the routine of working
nine-to-five for an ordinary salary that can
barely pay the mortgage. Personally, I think
they’re nuts.

More reasonably, there are people who are
concerned about the risk of starting up their own
business. They’re not sure it’s worth the
investment of time and money, and they’re scared
of the responsibility that comes with running
their own company. They wonder if there is
another way to escape the rat race.

I’m sure there is. You could win the lottery or
wait for your Aunt Sue to keel over and leave you
her condo. Or maybe you could sit down with a pen
and paper and draw the blueprint for "The Next
Big Thing". Anything can happen... Right?

For me, what happened was creating a successful,
self-running Internet marketing system. It didn’t
happen without effort. It didn’t happen without
at least some initial investment of both time and
money and, of course, it doesn’t happen now
without me making sure that the taxes are filed
and the paperwork is done. But it happened.

I’m my own boss. I work from home according to my
own schedule and I get to pocket all the cash my
business makes. If you’re prepared to give an
e-business the time, the work and the money it
needs to get started and get growing, it can
happen for you too.

Are you looking to make money through adwords but just seem to keep on spending without seeing the rewards? Read on.....

Google's Adwords service has brought success to many businesses by providing them with a large amountl of highly targeted traffic from as little as 2 cents per visitor. However, there is probably an equal number of webmasters who have paid for adwords and seen little benefit or have indeed made substantial losses. If the latter applies to you, then the following may be of some benefit - 1. Planning First of all, decide how the layout of your ad will appear. Secondly, you should consider what you want to be included in the title and what keywords or details you wish to present to potential visitors to your site. Ensure that your text will encourage only targeted visitors to your site in order to avoid the expense of wasted clicks. Read through all the Google TOS and guidelines before placing your ad or else you risk having it disabled which can lead to charges. A fair proportion of internet surfers are still very experienced and click on adwords without even realising what it is. Therefore it is a good tip to list prices in your text, so that you can put off clicks from those who would have no intention of purchasing your product or service in the first place. 2. BrainstormingBefore beginning a campaign it is advisable to write down as many keywords and phrases as you can think of. The most popular terms are likely to have been bid up to a high price, making all your click-throughs expensive. Think about what your prospective customers would type if they were looking for what you were offering. When you have thought of as many words as you can, glance over your list and rearrange what you have into new, useable phrases. Some will be way off target and discarded instantly, amongst the others choose the one that sounds best and you should have a great sales pitch that won't break the bank. 3. Optimising Do not go along with google's suggested cost per click. This is always far higher than necessary. Many advertisers do not understand that their click through rate affects their position to the same degree as how much they pay per click. For example, if you pay 5 cents per click for the phrase "page rank" and your competition pays 10 cents and achieves a click through rate of 0.5%, then in order to surpass this person in position you will only need to double your click through rate, to anything above 1%, whilst still only paying half of what they are Generally speaking, I would always recommend paying half of the google suggested figure for your clicks, the exception being if your business is in a highly competitive field in terms of adwords marketing use. Now that you have your keywords and pricing in place, you should set your daily budget relatively low for a short time, allowing you to see how successfully this campaign is running, without risking too much money. Leave your campaign to run for a few days, and take good care to note which keywords are leading to sales or enquiries. 4. Experimenting You should continually monitor the performance of your keywords and Ad groups and try to change tiny details from time to time, perhaps one word here and there occassionally. Changing even one word can have an affect on the success of your campaign, either positively or negatively. If you find google disabling your ads because you are failing to obtain enough clicks then go back to brainstorming and generate another set of keywords and phrases which may work better for you. Even if adwords are working supremely well for you, constant monitoring is important. If other people realise you are generating high profits then it is likely they will start to tap into your market. Continue to experiment with your campaigns to ensure you stay at the forefront of your field.

Make Money At Home-Start Here First

Make Money At Home-Start Here First © Jeff Schumanhttp://www.team-schuman.com
So you want to make money working at home! You are not alone. According to a recent search I did the term make money was typed in almost 100,000 times in one month. There are a lot of people wanting to make money working at home.
I was one of them and now can excitedly say I do just that. No more traffic jams, bosses, co-workers, 8-5, Mon-Fri., 2 weeks vacation etc.
Don't get me wrong! A J.O.B. certainly is needed to pay the bills and provide for the lifelong essentials for millions of people.
But it is interesting how many people have figured out that there is more than one way to do that. And making money working at home is one of them.
What proves to be a little harder is finding a job working at home. There are a lot of companies that are willing to sell you information lists that claim to have companies looking at work at home employees or sub-contractors.
My own opinion is that the only one who makes out on this method is the person selling you the information. My advice is Do Not Pay To Buy Information On Companies Looking For Work At Home People.
How about this.....Start Your Own Home Business providing a product or service that there is a need for. Finding a niche in the marketplace is not as hard as it would seem.
The best place to begin is with a topic you have a personal interest in. If you are going to be doing this everyday you might as well like doing it.
In my case I chose 2 topics. The make money at home opportunity seeker and the small business sector. I like working with people and I understand how small businesses operate because I have personally worked with small business owners for the past 20 years.
Next is to choose a product that could fill a need to your market you are going into. Make a list of everything that you can think of. Nothing is to off the wall. I have even heard of a farmer in Kansas who sells colored tumbleweeds all over the world.
One thing I have found helpful is to see what people are searching for on the internet. A really good tool for that is the search term suggestion tool with Overture. http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
Go ahead and type in words and phrases and see what people are looking for relating to a topic you might be interested in selling a product for.
Next I want to look at what the competition is doing. Doing a search on Google is a very good way to see what websites are out there relating to your topic. http://www.google.com
Do not be afraid of competition, but do expect to work harder if you want to make money working at home in a competitive field.
You don't need a lot of of tools to start making money working at home. In my case I use a laptop with high speed internet access, an email account, a second phone line separate from my personal line, a printer, and efax to receive faxes.
You could get by with just a good internet connection and a decent email provider to start, Don't use a free email account like hotmail or yahoo. Be professional!
I learned how to build simple websites for my products, how to advertise the products both online and offline, and how to use my telephone for follow-up.
This took a while and I have found that joining a good affiliate program can provide you with products, training material, marketing tools, websites and more to help you get your make money at home business off the ground as you are learning.
There is no doubt the biggest obstacle you will encounter is finding prospects, customers, traffic, or whatever you want to call it.
This is the number one reason people fail working from home. You have a great product or service, now how do you tell the world about it!!
My advice is to zero in on a main marketing strategy and then branch off from that. I'll give you an example. When I started my small business website design company I decided that signing up affiliates in various large metro areas and providing them with a pre-written telemarketing script and objections/rebuttals list was the best way to attract customers inexpensively.
Pay them a handsome commission and residual income and support them with an excellent product and backend service. I branched out into internet marketing and advertising from there. There is always more than one way to skin a cat, but focus on one method before you add another. Do not become a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none when it comes to marketing your business.
I would close this article by saying this. You have to become a sponge and spend some time and money learning how to make money working at home. Subscribe to as many newsletters, publications, etc. as your time allows you to read. BUT....Do Not Get caught up in the trap of learning, but not earning.
Take what you are learning and get in the game. Knowledge without action is a waste. If you will apply what you learn you will reap the rewards of the rapidly growing number of people who are happily making money working from home!

Can I Really Make Money On The Internet?

Yes, you can. Actually, I guarantee that you can makemoney on the Internet. This is not a bold claim.
I know you've heard that 95% (probably even more) people fail to make money on the internet. I know you think you've tried all and everything. Probably you have been through enough garbage on the Internet, spent countless hours, possibly a fair amount of money and if you've earned more than a hundred bucks then you have been really lucky.
Why is that so?There are to possible reasons why you and the rest of 95% people failed to make money on the Internet:
1) You fail because, deep inside your subconscious, you don't belive that you actually can succeed
2) You fail because you simply don't know how to doit right
It's that simple.
So what are the ingredients for success that ANYBODY can follow?
1) Belive that you will succed!
First of all you need to re-direct your immediate desire to make money online and BELIVE that YOU acctually will do it.
2) Don't take any advice from someone NOT actually doing it!
Believe it or not, most of the people selling "how to make money online" information aren't actually doing it themeselves. Don't listen to them. They don't speak from experience.
3) Learn from the best!
Long ago I heard these very wise words: "find someone in life where you want to be, do what they did to get there, don't do what they didn't do, and you will have what they have". Best Internet marketers have developed a practically foolproof ways to make money on the Internet. If you follow their proven formula (tested time and time again), you are guaranteed to succeed. The following is vitally important so please give it some serious thought as it can make or break you in the early stages.
Learning how to make money online is exactly the same as learning any other skill. It is not difficult but it is a step by step process... It doesn't happen overnight but day by day your confidence and success will grow, same as your bank account:)

When to Start a Home Business?

I find that most people seem to start trying to make Money online with a Home Business at the wrong time.
They just lost their job, there spouse just lost theirs or money problems have overwhelmed them. They are in a disparate situation, they need to make money Now, not tomorrow, but Now.
That is exactly the Wrong time to start.
Why?
Because they are looking for something that doesn't exist. Money over night, success in a flash. Instant Riches.
Sorry to say, it doesn't happen that way. Don't believe all the Hype you read on Websites, or posted on Company Message Boards or coming from some upline member above you.
What is the purpose of the Company Website after all?
To get you to join, spend your money or time or both and if it seems to promise that it's going to be easy making money, that they do all the work and you just collect the checks, don't fall for it. They just want your money and your time.
If members post on the Company boards about the hundreds of members they've signed up almost over night, don't think just because they did it, you can.
How did they do it?
They have either spend a Lot of Money Promoting, or paid for sign ups which in the long run will be almost worthless. Or, and most likely of all, they have a Large Mailing List that they have built up over time of people who have joined things with them in the past and trust them.
The same goes for that Heavy Hitter upline of yours who writes everyone below him or her and tells them how easy it was to get sign ups. Hog wash... Easy for them, not so easy for you and the rest of us.
For most of us, it's going to take time and a lot of work.
I will not lie to you and tell you anything is easy, fast or guaranteed. Any program, no matter who says what, is going to take time and work.
So, when is the best time to start trying to make Money in an online Home Business, or any start it yourself business, for that matter?
When you already have a job and money coming in every month. When the bills at home are getting paid and there might be just a little extra to try something new.
Of course if you just inherited a Ton Of Cash and don't need to work, you can start any old time.
The best time to start a business to make Money is when you don't need that Money.
It's like the old saying about Banks loaning you Money only when you can prove you don't need it. Whatever program or company you are in or are thinking of joining, you need to realize it is going to take time and work and that you had better have a way of paying the bills while it builds.
I read about people and get E-mails from others all the time saying they just got laid off, lost their jobs or have extra expenses they can't handle, wanting to know what to do to make it BIG or even small, just enough to pay those bills.
If you are in one of those situations and are already in some program and are hopping if you just hang on one more month or join one more thing it's all going to start working, or you are waiting for that company or program to launch so you can be Rich?
Get yourself a real job and stop dreaming it's going to happen over night or in the next month. Get a real job, and work your program as a second job. And work it as hard as you can.
Work it that way until it's been paying you enough to pay the bills for at least a couple of months if not longer before you even think of getting rid of that real job.
Make sure you take care of family first... They are the most important part of your Life. Make sure the Bills are being paid second, that will help keep your family happy. Then work your program and start to build it.
If you take care of what is important Now, and work your program or business after that is done, you will have success and a better life down the road. Don't be a Dreamer chasing after "Get Rich Quick" schemes. Get Real and take care of yourself and your family first. Then chase your Dreams and build them on solid ground.
Family First, if you take care of them, they will be more likely to stand behind you in your quest. Don't Loose what you have trying to earn what you wish you had.

Know Money to Make Money

Know Money to Make Money
by Ivon T. Hugheshttp://www.writerscontest.ca/
The experts are always telling us that getting paid for what you know is one of the most effective, least time-intensive ways to make a buck. Well, if you know anything about money (and you don't need to be a financial whiz), writing articles for financial websites can be a very lucrative way to get paid for what you know.
We all understand that demand for your product is essential in any business. Well, how's this for demand: EVERYONE is interested in money. We want to know how we can earn it, save it, and grow it. After all, isn't making money your basic motivation for reading this article or subscribing to this newsletter? If you do want to make money, and you have any insight or even anecdotes about things like investing, business, family finances, taxes, or even being flat broke, there is a huge online demand for what you have to say. And surprisingly, you don't have to be a professional writer to get in the game.
There are many different types of financial businesses that are always looking for articles (yes, even your articles) to use on their websites. Stock brokers need technical articles, as well as articles on how families like yours invest, and what they think about stocks and mutual funds. Even banks, insurance companies, and mutual fund companies are always looking for human interest stories about how money, or the lack thereof, can affect families and individuals just like you, from all walks of life.
You've probably heard a dozen times that the best selling product on the Internet is information. Well, for you and your articles, this can clearly be the case. Financial websites are willing to pay you for your articles, because their customers and people visiting the sites are HUNGRY for the information. Providing the information people want makes these firms look good, making people want to do business with them. If you can help their business with your articles, they are often willing to pay you handsomely for your assistance.
In all seasons, and at specific times of year, there are articles needed on issues like retirement planning, education funding, savings, tax filing and brackets, insurance, estate planning, family finances, and more.
But what if you don't know anything about any of these topics? If you're willing to do some research and learn a few things, you'll not only be armed with the knowledge you've gained, but you will also be poised to make some great money. Try going to a search engine like Google, and you will find thousands of articles on money, investments, and all types of insurance. Spend some time learning the ropes and your study could pay off big time.
In fact, many websites even hold contests to promote themselves and build a crop of writers. These sites are looking for interesting articles that teach, entertain, and inform on money, finances, investments, and insurance. The major prizes can be worth thousands to the writer, making a few hours of research and time spent writing well worth it. As sites build a list of writers, they will typically increase the number of writing contests they hold, making it easier and easier to get in on the action.
Ivon T. Hughes is founder of http://www.writerscontest.ca/ which, for a limited time, is sponsoring a writing contest for articles about term life insurance and Term Deposits/GICs. See the site for guidelines. All entries are FREE, and you will never be asked to pay any sort of fee. This article courtesy of http://www.makemoneyrightaway.com.You may freely reprint this article on your website or in your newsletter provided this courtesy notice and the author name and URL remain intact.
